Exclusive: Prajakta Mali confirms her marriage in 2020

Actress Prajakta Mali is all set to join the 'happily married' club soon just like her contemporaries Aniket Vishwasrao and Prarthana Behere, who got recently married.
Prajakta Mali, who shot to fame with the show Julun Yeti Reshimgathi, revealed her wedding plans in an exclusive chat with TimesofIndia.com.
While talking to us, the actress confirmed her wedding in 2020.She said, “For a long time, my parents have been after me to get married. But finally, I have given a nod.”
“As I did not fall in love with anyone, I asked my parents to search a partner for me. And my mother has started her hunt on the very first day of the year”, she added.
The actress even revealed that her mother has registered her name on one of the matrimonial sites. Prajakta said, “My mom has shortlisted some 4 to 5 profiles and showed me the pictures of the grooms.”
When quizzed about the qualities she is looking for in her life partner, she said, “I just want a partner who can understand me and accept me as I am. Also, the person and his family should not have any problems with my shoot timings and schedules as I have an irregular timetable owing to my profession.”
The actress even said that she is not looking for an actor as her life partner but she expects that the person to have respect towards her profession.
Elaborating on why she is getting married next year, Prajakta said, “Even if I choose my partner this year, I want to get to know him properly before taking the big step. He shouldn’t just marry me because I am an actress. Also, I feel that the year 2020 sounds good too.”
When she was asked about her choice of an ideal life partner from the industry, she laughed and said, “I have many crushes in the South and Bollywood industries like Rana Daggubati, Guru Randhawa, Vicky Kaushik etc. But I know they are out of my reach. And from the Marathi industry, if Jitendra Joshi or Prasad Oak would have been single then I would have definitely loved to marry one of them.”
